Linking research, training and knowledge
Child & Family Professional shares the knowledge, expertise and new learning of those working with children, youth and families. Written by frontline professionals for frontline professionals, the Child & Family Professional is published three times a year by kidsLINK.
Child & Family Professional promotes the work done by direct service practitioners in the fields of social work, psychology, child protection, education, therapeutic practice and community development.
Child & Family Professional believes all children, youth and families have a right to mental wellness. Many of the children, youth and families receiving professional support have experienced, or are at risk of experiencing, some sort of trauma. Child & Family Professional aims to educate professionals to be informed about the effects of trauma, how to support recovery, or resilience and how to inspire wellness in those they work with.
Child & Family Professional allows kidsLINK and others to transfer and build knowledge as part of our mission to improve the lives of children and families so they can achieve their potential and be responsible contributing members of their communities.
