Help for children, teenagers and families
with mental health concerns
We believe all children, youth and families have a right to mental wellness.
If your family has social, emotional and behavioural concerns, kidsLINK can help. We provide programs and services for children, youth and families affected by trauma such as violence, abuse or loss. You will be a partner in the process.
- Whenever possible, children receive treatment in their own home, school and community
- Those facing more severe challenges receive treatment in our kidsLINK residences and school.
- Families may also receive respite care.
Our experienced and dedicated staff uses proven practices and innovative ideas to get results. Programs and services are individualized to your child and family’s unique circumstances and are culturally sensitive.
What kind of help can you get?
kidsLINK provides programs and services that assess and treat challenges such as:
- bi-polar disorder
- anxiety disorder
- conduct disorder
- attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
When you need immediate help for your child
While your child may have to be on a waiting list before he or she is assessed and treated, immediate counseling and intervention is available through the walk-in services of Front Door.
As a parent or caregiver, you can also benefit from kidsLINK workshops.
